Kristen Anne Bell, born 1980 in the US of America is an actress and a singer. She was born in Huntington Woods and raised there. Bell is the daughter of Lorelei Frygier as well as Tom Bell. Her parents are from Polish heritage (mother), and German, English and Scottish (father). Kristen discovered her passion for entertainment as a young age. She won her role as Raggedy Ann in 1992 after going to the first audition. Bell was accepted by her mother as an agent at the age of was thirteen years old. Then, she was cast for newspaper ads and commercials on TV. In addition to learning in private classes in acting, she launched her career at that time. Bell had a role that was not credited on Polish Wedding (1998), an upcoming film. Bell took part in the Drama and Music Club of Shrine Catholic High School. The Wizard of Oz was performed by her high school and she won the part as Dorothy. Bell was a student of music theatre in the prestigious Tisch School of the Arts located in New York City after graduating. In 2001, Bell left university to play the role as Becky as Becky in Tom Sawyer. She made her first film credit with Pootie Tang at the beginning of 2001. The scene however cut, and Bell's only role is the credits at the end. Bell made her debut in 2002. Bell appeared on The Crucible, a Broadway revival of The Crucible with Liam Neeson and Angela Bettis.
