Mary McCormack is an American actress known for her leading parts in the TV series 'Murder One", 'The West Wind', 'In Plain Sight', and Loaded. Also known for her roles in films, she has appeared in "Private Parts", "Deep Impact", "True Crime" and 1408. McCormack was the daughter of owners of an ice cream parlor and a clinical psychologist. Her family has no connection to entertainment. McCormack was a student at Wardlaw-Hartridge School and, following her parents' divorce in the year 1990, she enrolled to Trinity College in Hartford in Connecticut. Her graduation was in the BA program in Comparative arts. Her career started at a young twelve years old when she appeared in a stage production a Christmas opera titled "Amahl and The Night Visitors'. The actress continued her performances in the theatre as well as landing roles both on the small screen as well as the big screen. McCormack has been recognized as being one of Hollywood's best-known and versatile actors. McCormack is married producer and director Michael Morris and has three children.
